Oh, Canada! The legacy of the 2021 World Juniors lives on in a pretty cool NHL moment.

On both the same night, Dylan Cozens and Bowen Byram were able to collect some points.Cozens with his first NHL goal and Byram with his first point.

The action started off in the East Division as Cozens and the Buffalo Sabres took on the Washington Capitals.

During the second period, Cozens picked up the puck from the neutral zone, skated past the Washington defense and shot the puck right to the far top corner and past Vitek Vanecek to secure his first NHL goal and giving us some nice bardown action.

Honestly, the shot was an absolute rocket and we wouldn’t be mad if they kept that on repeat for days.

Shortly later on and over in the Western Division, Byram was able to lock in his first NHL career point with one of the best first NHL career assists we’ve ever seen.

While the Colorado Avalanche took on the Anaheim Ducks, Byram came through for the Av’s early on in the third period, Byram took the puck from the top of the Duck’s end and carried it down the wing before passing it off right in front of the net, allowing Mikko Rantanen to score.

And again, we wouldn't mind seeing this assist on replay for days.

The hockey world quickly shared just how happy they were for the two Team Canada co-captains to share a special moment together tonight.

What a night for the Canadian rookies!
