Former NHLer Paul Bissonnette wasn’t the greatest player during his NHL career, but he still knows a thing or two about hockey. And according to his calculations, the Carolina Hurricanes have had a $@!& offseason.

The 33-year-old spends these days as a personality on Barstool Sport’s Spittin Chiclets podcast and has drilled teams on multiple occasions. The Canes were his latest victim after they traded Jeff Skinner to the Buffalo Sabres for Cliff Pu and a series of draft picks. While breaking down the move, Biznasty showed zero mercy towards the team… at all.

The Skinner move wasn’t even the biggest splash the team has made so far this summer. Earlier in July, the team moved franchise players Noah Hanifin and Elias Lindholm in exchange for Dougie Hamilton, Michael Ferland, and coveted prospect Adam Fox. Needless to say it’s been a hectic offseason for the franchise, especially after firing former GM Ron Francis.

Which team won yesterday's trade, Carolina or Calgary? 🤔👇

Time will tell how the moves pan out, but it’s pretty clear that Biz thinks the Hurricanes are currently in some serious trouble.
