Sometimes odd bounces or strange plays can lead to a “bizarre moment”. In fact, the possibilities of something bizarre happening are actually pretty good, even if the particular moment seems shocking.
One moment in the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Charlotte Hornets game that truly was a rare, bizarre moment that you can hardly ever expect to see again.
Apparently these professional basketball players… forgot how to basketball? In a JR Smith-esque moment, Cody Zeller scooped up two of the easiest points he’ll ever get.
So there is an explanation that may make it a little more understandable (although, not really). Zeller was awarded two free throws, but after taking his first one the Bucks called a time out.
Apparently during the time out everyone simply forgot that Zeller only had one free throw to go, except for Zeller himself. Even the announcers were caught off guard when Zeller swiped the ball of superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and dunked it.
Goes to show that rhythm is an important part of a basketball game, but there’s still no real excuse. You have to know when the ball is live!
