Bianca Andreescu has fully arrived on the women’s tennis scene, and she appears to be here to stay.
Her rapid rise to a single-digit WTA ranking has been one of the most impressive stories to come out of the Canadian sports world, ever. Her young career reached an all-time high on Saturday when she solidified her first major, beating Serena Williams in straight sets to win the U.S. Open.
That’s one of the most impressive titles you can receive in the sport, but on Sunday we found out she would be receiving a different kind of title.
Not your typical tennis apparel, but we could honestly see Bianca taking the court and continuing to dominate while sporting this customized hardware.
The belt comes customized with “Women’s Champion” crested on the front, and a U.S. Open logo present on each side.
