Just about every Canadian, from Justin Trudeau to Shania Twain, showed some love to Bianca Andreescu when the 19 year old toppled Serena Williams to become the first Canadian to ever claim a Grand Slam singles title at the US Open.
There was one exception, though. Appearing on The Tonight Show, Andreescu called Drake out for being seemingly the only person who didn’t reach out.
Well, here’s an update: She finally got a text back! Drake congratulated her on the win and in fact he’s been sending plenty of likes her way — but the best part is, Andreescu is leaving him on read for the moment.
Well, if anyone can be too busy to reply to Drake, it would certainly be Andreescu right now. After pulling in millions of Canadian viewers for her historic run, we’re guessing she’s a bit swamped right now by all the noise.
