Now that the Raptors have locked up their place in the NBA Finals, they’re shifting their attention to a new opponent — the Golden State Warriors. The trash talk has already begun, although maybe not in the way that we expected.
The band Smash Mouth, which hails from San Jose, entered the fray with a call-out of Drake’s antics on the sideline.
Let’s just say that the replies are not going great for Smash Mouth!
Drake is a hands-on presence in the crowd at Raptors games (literally), and that has bugged some folks already — Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer is no fan.
But you know that Drake is just going to be himself, energy and all. There may be naysayers, but what the Raptors are building in Toronto, well, we think they like it just fine.
