We’ve all been there before. You get to the rink, get dressed and are about to hit the ice. Then, to your absolute dismay, you notice that your helmet just isn’t there. You look, and look, and look.
Uh oh, no one has an extra either.
So, with few options left before puck drop, you freak and do the unthinkable; hit the lost and found section and see what you can find. A particular duster went through this exact nightmare on Sunday night and let us tell you, he didn’t look pretty. From the looks of this video, #69 could hardly tell what was going on in front of him on the ice.
A couple of things here: 1) that helmet is suspect. What if it had lice? And 2) Those must have been some chill refs because we’re pretty sure rocking a goalie helmet during play should usually result in a penalty.
The BarDown hockey team just keeps making hockey look more bizarre by the game. We’ve seen them wear dusty equipment in games, pretend to be EA NHL 19 players on the ice, cheer for their opponents and of course, drop 1,000 pucks on the ice for warmies. Honestly, their opponents must be starting to get pretty sick of their shenanigans…
