Madness. MADNESS!!!!

The Nevada Wolf Pack entered their round of 32 matchup as heavy underdogs against the Cincinnati Bearcats and put on a show tonight for college basketball fans around the country. The Latter were a popular pick to make the final four and appeared to have a clear road after UMBC’s historic victory over Virginia. After leading by as much as 22 points with 11 minutes remaining, the team saw the contest slowly slip through their fingers. A ferocious stretch helped the Wolf Pack climb their way back and pull off the massive upset.

Fans were in disbelief following the win, and the Wolf Pack’s Twitter team didn’t seem to believe what took place either. They were simply out of words after hearing the final horn. Well, real words at least.

Pretty much everything has happened so far in the 2018 NCAA National Tournament. A  #16 seed took down a #1, a series of buzzer beaters have been made, and a #14 has made its way to the Sweet 16 with a series of nail-biting finishes. To say March has been kind to fans so far is an understatement.

In 135 games, a 16 seed has never seen the second round... Until now #MarchMadness

After three days of action, two number one and number two seeds have already been eliminated. Nevada is heading to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2004 and will look to advance to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history. Judging by the upsets so far, we wouldn’t be surprised if it were to happen.
