You'd think winning one fight on the night in spectacular fashion by knocking out Darren Till would be enough for UFC welterweight fighter Jorge Masvidal.

But when you're an underdog coming off a big victory, the adrenaline is still flowing through your body. After Masvidal's victory, he was interviewed by ESPN for a post-fight recap. Masvidal decided to pause the interview and confront Leon Edwards, who won in the co-main event over Gunnar Nelson.

Masvidal walked over and unleashed the words and fists on Edwards.

ESPN's Arial Helwani provided updates on the backstage tussle at O2 Arena.

This past week, Masvidal explained that he's not a fan of trash talking to promote fights.

“I can talk, if I want to,” the fighter explained to the media during the week. “What am I gonna say? ‘Oh, you’re a punk!’ then he calls my mom names. It’s f—ng childish, you know.”

“I get it. The 17-year-olds are f—ng eating this sh-t up. Maybe some people never got out of high school. But if it’s not a genuine dislike between two people, and it’s not creative either where it’s just f—ng annoying sh-t talking like ‘you’re an idiot! Well, you’re stupid!’, man. It’s f—ng so stupid, man.”
