Auston Matthews is Lazlo Holmes' latest guest and you can bet his moustache came up in the convo

Last year Chance the Rapper hosted Saturday Night Live and his character Lazlo Holmes, a full-time New York Knicks beat reporter for MSG who filled in as the New York Rangers’ rinkside reporter for a night, won over the hearts of many hockey fans.

This year, Lazlo Holmes is making weekly appearances on NHL on NBC on Wednesday nights and he’s already interviewed Jonathan Marchessault and PK Subban. This week’s guest happens to be Toronto Maple Leafs centre Auston Matthews and you can bet there was a joke thrown in the interview about Matthews’ moustache.
 

Holmes also asked Matthews about his favourite players growing up, the unusual spelling of his first name, and he even took a jab at the New York Knicks.
