The holiday season is here and a couple of Maple Leafs are feeling a bit more festive than usual.
Auston Matthews and Frederik Andersen made two brothers’ holiday season by taking them on the shopping spree of a lifetime. The two surprised brothers Ta’Vion and Tae-Shawn Brown at Gateway Public school by calling them to the principal’s office and informing them on the news. The kid’s reactions were priceless and by the looks of it, all four had a blast on their trip.
“I get to play Fortnite with Auston.”
The giving isn’t going to stop here. It looks like Bauer is starting a bit of a trend here, as Auston Matthews passed ‘the puck’ to USA Women’s Hockey captain Hilary Knight. It’s going to be interesting to see what she comes up with after that solid performance!
We’ve got to give some serious props to Matthews as he seems to be keeping himself pretty busy during the month of December. We know he’s a phenome in the charity department but the question now becomes… how will he do in The Nutcracker?
