Things changed pretty quickly for the Golden State Warriors early into the second quarter on Monday night after Kevin Durant went down favouring his right leg and walked off the court without putting any weight on his leg.
Considering Durant sat out the entire series with a leg injury, most fans jumped to the worst conclusion after watching the two-time NBA Finals MVP get helped off the court and plenty of athletes around North America showed Durant support, while also throwing some shade at Raptors fans for cheering for the injury.
You never want to see a player go down hurt, especially when it looks as bad as this did. Major props to Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka, though, who did their part to make sure Raptors fans would stop cheering.
