After a long and tumultuous relationship with the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Washington Capitals finally became the last team standing in them. A thrilling run to their franchise first championship was capped off with a series victory over the Vegas Golden Knights, and since then it’s been all celebrations.

Seriously though, the celebrations have been amazing.

Anyway, the Caps will be sure to celebrate their first gracing of the Hockey Hall of Fame’s Stanley Cup Champion display case. The exhibit displays artifacts from past Stanley Cup Champions, and now the Caps will have their own assortment of historical memorabilia.

We aren’t given many clues into what the full ensemble will be, but we’re shown some of the classic items you’d expect. It will be interesting to see how the Hall chooses to showcase the historic Cup victory.

With some fans curious about the labeled cigar artifact in the middle, the HHOF did clear that one up.
