After late-season friction with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh, Antonio Brown has finally gotten his wish from the Steelers by way of a trade to the Oakland Raiders. In the days before Brown was officially traded to the Raiders, however, there was a strange twist to the saga that left everyone thinking that the receiver was bound for the Buffalo Bills.
However, Brown reportedly refused to go to Buffalo, and now he’s weighed in on the rumor with a meme that seemingly confirms his lack of interest in playing for the Bills.
Yikes. Bills fans are not going to be happy with this one! After the team’s reputation may not be high, they are certainly building a respectable young core, and Brown could have taken things to the next level by partnering with quarterback Josh Allen. So, there should be something said for that.
But Brown seems just perfectly happy to land in Oakland, and at the end of the day, isn’t that what counts? It already seems to be ‘love at first sight’ between the receiver and his new quarterback, Derek Carr.
