While you’re taking in some Little League baseball, why not tackle the famous hill slide at Lamade Stadium, too?
Anthony Rizzo and his Cubs manager Joe Maddon got in on the action, sledding down the hill on huge pieces of cardboard with Little Leaguers, and it’s probably the most wholesome thing we’ve seen all day.
Nothing to see here, just a Cubs slugger bombing downhill with a bunch of kids. That last guy in the video better get out of the way, seriously, becaues he’s got kids flying right at him.
Rizzo and Maddon aren’t the only Cubs on hand taking in the action. Canadian pitcher Rowan Wick is there too, and he’s teaching the Canadian Little Leaguers a thing or two about pitch grips.
