Anthony Davis has one of the best nicknames in sports by being referred to as “The Brow.”
The majority of you reading this will know exactly why he’s called that, but if you’re unfamiliar with Davis, then have a look at this picture.
You’ll notice that in that picture, Davis is rocking a serious unibrow. The Pelicans superstar, who could make his way into the discussion for the MVP (although he’s really has no chance of winning it), has decided to ask his fans whether we need to come up with a new nickname for him in the simple form of a Twitter poll.
Davis has gone on record saying he wasn’t going to ever shave it, and eventually trademarked the “Fear the Brow” phrase.
We’re going to say that Davis should keep it, simply because we’ve grown to know Davis with the bro. After all, it’s his signature symbol, like the mullet to Jagr, or Michael Jordan’s tongue, or The Rock’s tattoos, and he's embraced it this far.
