It's officially GAME DAY!! Game 1 of the NBA Finals goes down in Toronto Thursday night and we can finally watch the two best teams in the league go at it after being teased with talk of the matchup for what feels like forever.
The Raptors are the underdog going into the series, which is understandable considering the team they're facing, and they're going to need everyone on their team to step up and contribute if they want to beat the Warriors. We know Kawhi Leonard is probably going to have a great game, but it's going to take great games from the rest of the starters and bench players to pick up a win. Speaking of the rest of the starters, a new mural went up in Toronto and it wasn't one of just Kawhi.
The Raptors are much more than Kawhi and much more than the players on the court, too. This mural encapsulates that and it couldn't have gone up at a better time, right before Game 1.
As the series continues and players outside of Kawhi emerge as Finals heroes, it's probably safe to expect more murals to go up around the city.
