This year’s NBA Free Agency is gearing up to be one of the most exciting ever, with some of the league’s biggest stars hitting the market on June 30th at 6pm.
Names like Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson, and Kemba Walker are being pursued by various teams right now, but for Toronto Raptors fans, only one name really matters.
There are a few rumours circulating about the two-time finals MVP, and no shortage of teams attempting to lure him back south of the border.
One of those teams is the Lakers.
Today, a mural adorned with Kawhi in a Lakers jersey popped up in Venice beach, and it definitely has Raptors fans a little on edge.
This mural continues the trend of billboards and murals as a form of player recruitment, which has become increasingly popular this year.
We’ll see if the street art has any affect on Kawhi’s decision, but we also know he has a couple pretty fantastic murals in the Six, too.
