Anthony Beauviller went for it… and Anna Kendrick finally gave him a response.
Kind of.
On Christmas Day, the Isles forward (kind of out of nowhere) shot his shot (we think?) by sending a nice little hello to the Hollywood star over Twitter. The greetings went viral, as fans went as far as making up a bunch of scenarios in which Beauvy looked like a hero in order to catch Kendrick’s attention. After enough comments, the tweet eventually caught her eye and she had this to say about it:

At the very least, the 22-year-old should be happy he even got a response in the first place. His fellow NHLer Taylor Response once upon a time went for it all with Selena Gomez on Twitter but got chucked in the cooler instead.
Ouch.
Now that he has her attention… what will happen next?!
