Since 2005, Animal Planet has hosted a yearly program called the Puppy Bowl and it’s basically the dog version of the Super Bowl. The annual event consists of different puppies that have been rescued from areas around the world. The puppies are separated into two different teams, Team Fluff and Team Ruff, and go they go head-to-head inside a model stadium for the MVP (Most Valuable Puppy) award by scoring touchdowns with different dog toys.
Team Fluff has captured back-to-back Puppy Bowl titles and will look to take home their third straight championship this year.
Team Fluff
They only used to hand out an MVP award at the event, but three years ago they introduced the team-based competition. Team Ruff took home the first title by a score of 70-44, but were outscored 93-38 and 52-47 the following years. This year, they’re looking to take back the title.

It’s hard to choose a side to cheer for in this event. You can check out the entire lineup for each team right here.
