After 21 seasons as a head coach in the league, Andy Reid is finally a Super Bowl champion. There are 1,000 storylines that come out of a historic Super Bowl victory like this, but we’d say the Andy Reid story is nearly everyone’s favourite.
But Andy Reid has storylines within his own story, and the most entertaining have to do with food.
Big Red has become known for his money sound bites in which he discusses his love for food. After the AFC Championship victory over the Tennessee Titans, Reid was quoted saying that he was going to celebrate the victory with a cheeseburger. After his first Super Bowl victory, Reid doubled down on that comment… literally.
Reid was already likable before victory, but watching the smiling legend celebrate his first victory with a look of overwhelming joy is enough to bring a smile to the face of a Chiefs hater.
Enjoy that burger, Andy. You deserve it!
