Remember last week when Andy Reid’s fogged-up face shield was the story of Week 1 in the NFL?

It was funny, but also a sign of the unusual times that football is being played in right now, with facial coverings being worn by players and staff on the sideline. Reid’s decision to go full tilt with the face shield definitely produced some amusing results, and another NFL coach, John Harbaugh, said that he chose to just go with a mask after seeing the shield on Reid.

Well, in Week 2, Reid remains undeterred. The face shield is back! This time, though, the shield contained the same defogging technology used by NHL players to prevent their visors from fogging up on the ice. It definitely seemed to work out for Reid.

Vindication!

This time last week, we were all laughing at Andy Reid, but it turns out that once again, he was on the NFL’s bleeding edge. He’s the original taste-maker.
