Last year, the Minnesota Timberwolves didn’t pick up their fourth win of the season until November 17, but just seven games into the 2017-18 season and they find themselves with a 4-3 record.

The Timberwolves were in Miami for a game with the Heat on Monday night and the two teams needed an extra quarter to decide a winner. However, with the T-Wolves up two in the final minute of the game, Andrew Wiggins was trying to put an end to the game in regulation by throwing down a nasty dunk.

Rather than holding onto the ball and setting up a play, Wiggins saw a wide open lane and took full advantage of the Heat’s error by throwing down a massive dunk over Josh Richardson.

Despite giving up the lead late in the game, Wiggins’ huge dunk didn’t go to waste as Minnesota went on to beat Miami 125-122 in overtime behind Wiggins’ 22 points.
