The Anaheim Ducks have had a rough go over the past month or so as they’ve won just two of their past 15 games, which included a disastrous 12-game losing skid. However, the team is hoping they can turn things around before it’s too late and a win before the All-Star break would come at the perfect time for them to head into the break on a high note.
On Wednesday night, the Ducks hosted the St. Louis Blues in their final game of the month and they had a special promotion in store for the fans who bought tickets to the game. During warm-ups, the Ducks looked different than usual as they hit the ice in their Anaheim Ducks-Los Angeles Angels collaboration jerseys since it just so happened to be LA Angels Night at the rink.
You can’t hold a special night for a team you share the city with and not invite some of the players down to the game, so Angels Shohei Ohtani, David Fletcher and Mark Langston were all on hand to drop the puck for the ceremonial faceoff before the game.
The ballplayers dressed the part as received their own Angels-Ducks collaboration jersey upon their arrival.
