Sidney Crobsy and Alex Ovechkin own the fiercest player rivalry in the NHL, but the two have been known to get along in the past.

Both have met multiple times in the postseason and participated together in numerous All-Star games, but when it comes down to it, each player hates losing to the other. That’s why it seems odd that of all the players to be beside Ovi in a photo hung up on his old rink, it’s none other than Crosby.

Moscow Dynamo, the team who the 32-year-old spent four yewith before heading to North America, has a signed photo of Ovechkin and Crosby hung up on its facility’s wall.

Let’s break down how old this photo really is. For starters, Sid is wearing an ‘A’ instead of a ‘C’ and appears to be rocking a Sherwood Momentum hockey stick. More notably, Ovi is rocking an old Caps jersey with all CCM Vector gear. Not to mention he doesn’t have any grey hair (sorry Ovi).

After all the trouble Crosby has caused Russia in international competition, it’s funny to see that he of all people managed to make it onto the wall.

What a pic.
