A few years ago, an artist by the name of Cuyler Smith had some fun with fictional characters from sports movies and shows by creating a series of trading cards featuring some of the most popular characters from those movies.
The project was a hit right off the bat and it resulted in Smith adding more than 40 other fictional characters to the collection, due to popular demand.
From Happy Gilmore to Cool Runnings to The Sandlot, Smith has done a fantastic job with the artwork on the cards and it’s even better that he puts together a bio on the back of each card and gives them their own unique look.
Smith doesn’t just tackle characters from sports-related movies or shows, but if the character had a role in some sort of sports-related scene you can bet there’s a card in their honour.
