Antonio Brown’s beef with the Steelers has gotten even stranger, if you could believe it. After Brown sat out of Pittsburgh’s Week 17 loss to the Ravens, reports came out that Brown had been punished for skipping practices, meetings and a clash with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
For his part, Brown fed the fire with a few posts to social media.
In his year-end press conference on Wednesday, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that there was a point where talent no longer becomes worth it. Not long after, Brown turned up on the Instagram Story of former teammate James Harrison, promising a “big interview,” presumably about his side of the story.
You can hear Tomlin’s interview in the background.
In the middle of Tomlin’s presser, almost all of which was dominated by questions about Brown, the star wideout shared this to Instagram — which, like some twisted form of sports news performance art, led to somebody asking Tomlin about it immediately.
In summation: There’s a lot going on. We’ll have our eyes peeled for this “big interview,” whenever it drops.
