Amanda Gorman touched the hearts of millions of people at President Biden's inauguration. The 22-year-old read an original poem called "The Hill We Climb," which received praise from thousands on social media including Oprah Winfrey and former President Barack Obama.

Amanda Gorman will reach another huge audience on Super Bowl Sunday as it was announced that she will be taking part in Super Bowl LV's pregame show.

Her poem is said to recognize three honorary game captains the NFL has chosen for Super Bowl LV: Los Angeles teacher Trimaine Davis, who managed to give Internet access and laptops for his students so that they would be able to access remote learning during the pandemic. Tampa nurse Suzie Dorner, who has been managing the COVID ICU at Tampa General Hospital; and Marine veteran James Martin, who has helped veterans and their families connect virtually through his work with the Wounded Warrior Project.

Miley Cyrus will be performing as part of the TikTok Tailgate event which will celebrate the 7,500 vaccinated health care workers who were invited to attend the Super Bowl in appreciation for their efforts during this coronavirus pandemic.

The Weeknd will be performing the halftime show,  H.E.R. will perform "America the Beautiful," Eric Church and R&B star Jazmine Sullivan will also be performing amongst many others.
