At this pace it looks like Alex Ovechkin is going to be celebrating the Washington Capitals’ first Stanley Cup all summer long.
From throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a Nationals game to swimming in fountains in D.C., to a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ovi has been having a blast with hockey’s greatest treasure. After celebrating at the team’s parade on Tuesday afternoon, the Capitals captain spotted a few Caps fans in the car beside him and they all exchanged a hearty greeting.
No one has had more fun over the past few days than Alexander Ovechkin and it’s shows in all of the photos and videos that make their rounds online.
As for Ovechkin, he’s pretty much the most loved person in all of D.C. right now.
