Alex Ovechkin’s post-fight responses to Josh Anderson chirping are priceless

Last night, Alexander Ovechkin got as heated as we’ve ever seen him when he caught a blindside jab from Josh Anderson.

Immediately afterword, Ovechkin went after him and started an entire line brawl. It went as far as Braden Holtby coming to the blue line to potentially get involved. By the end of it, Anderson was bloodied from his tussle with Ovi.

The crew over at Russian Machine Never Breaks captured the whole thing and there were some great highlights to come out of it.

Still, Anderson was chirping from the penalty box, but Ovechkin had the perfect response after letting his frustration out. Ovechkin simply points out that Anderson has something on his face (blood), suggesting maybe he should clean himself up a bit.

Basically, once Ovi had gotten him back for the jab, he didn’t feel like getting involved in the whole yelling match going on in the penalty box. He simply waved by to his combatants and stayed seated in his spot.
