As the old saying goes, game recognizes game.
Monday night in Montreal, that saying was on full display as Alex Ovechkin actually applauded and high-fived Carey Price after Price robbed of a game-winning goal and hat trick in the final second of the third period.
The ultimate display of respect right there between two of the best players in the game right now. After the game, Ovechkin commented on applauding for Price and it really gives fans a good sense of how much respect he has for Price.
