Today was a day that Jays fans have been waiting for, for quite some time.
Not only was it incredible to see both Bichette and Semien homer, moving Semien up on the leaderboard with 13 HRs, but Alek Manoah made his major league debut and it was pretty magical if we’re being honest.
Off the bat, Manoah dressed to the NINES so he already was creating those good vibes prior to taking the mound against the New York Yankees to win 2-0.
Seriously the baby blue ombre sunnies? ELECTRIC.
Giving up just two hits with two walks, Manoah put up 6+ IP with 7+ K. Ya, the kid is pretty good, we don’t even need to sugarcoat it. This guy is what Jays fans have been longing for all season.
