No sport cultivates one-on-one drama quite like basketball. With some of the most outspoken personalities in the league, the stakes are much higher when it comes to teammate relationships. While some teammates like Toronto Raptors Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan seems like they’ve reached brotherhood status, some relationships go south in a hurry when teammates eventually split up.

Some examples of this include the infamous Kobe-Shaq relationship while they were on the Los Angeles Lakers, or Kevin Durant leaving Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors. The most recent example of supposed beef came from the likes of Kyrie Irving and LeBron James when Kyrie requested a trade away from the Cleveland Cavaliers super team.

While there were rumours and speculation about just about everything between the two All-Stars, there wasn’t much in the way of public trash talkings. There were little comments here and there, and maybe even the occasional cryptic social media post, but generally speaking they showed respect to each other and even had a few moments of rejoice on the court.

During NBA All-Star Weekend, any lingering beef appeared to be officially squashed. The two were seen chatting it up like old pals ahead of Sunday’s game.

Some old friends catching up. 👀

While that buttered the fans up, the cameras then captured the two busting a gut in a way that only two genuine friends could.

Okay NBA fans, you can take your drama-hats off. There’s no more beef to see here.
