Adam Bighill is one of the best defensive players in the CFL and he has two Grey Cup rings and two CFL Most Outstanding Defensive Player awards to show for his hard work.

Last weekend, the five-time CFL All-Star surprised the Oxford Heights Blues, a local youth hockey team in Winnipeg, on their team picture day and he brought his shiny friend along with him.

Bighill’s always up for a new challenge, so when the six-time CFL West All-Star got the invitation to stick around and take part in the practice, you knew he wasn’t going anywhere.

It’s safe to say Bighill is a much better at football than he is at hockey, which is obvious considering he does play the former professionally, but at least he gave it a shot and provided the kids with memories they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.
