The Abbotsford Canucks are entering the AHL in style.
Vancouver’s new affiliate released its logo and jerseys today and gave us the lumberjack jerseys that NHL fans have always wanted. The team, which made the move from Utica, elected to stick with the teams’ classic blue, green and white colours and it’s safe to say these ones turned out pretty well.
So you might be thinking… hey, I’ve seen that logo before! ‘Johnny Canuck’ was introduced in the 2008-09 season and has served as a shoulder patch for the organization throughout the years. Like the Comets, the organization elected to stick with the green, which has us wondering… will the Canucks eventually do the same?
So, what are your thoughts on the new sweater? Let us know @BarDown.
