Heading into the divisional round of this year’s NFL Playoffs, there was perhaps no game more highly anticipated than the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks NFC clash. Two teams that flashed greatness throughout the NFL season, two legendary quarterbacks squared off in a game you knew was going to be extremely competitive.
When all the dust settled and the fans headed for the exits, it was the Packers who punched their ticket to San Francisco with a 28-23 victory over the ‘Hawks. Following the game, Aaron Rodgers explained how he planned on celebrating – a simple glass of scotch before hitting the film for the Niners.
Some players may be tempted to hit the town and live it up after a big win, but Rodgers knows it’s all business until they’re lifting the Lombardi.
He’s a simple man.
