Aaron Rodgers is entering his 11th training camp as the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, but for the first time in his career, he's got a new head coach calling the shots.
Mike McCarthy is gone and Matt Lafleur is the new head coach of the Packers. He's also just 4 years older than Rodgers and this is his first head coaching gig in the NFL, so there's a different vibe around Green Bay this summer. Chemistry questions always come up when a new coach is in the fold, but so far it seems like the quarterback and his new coach are having a great time.
The one he pulled on his head coach and Davante Adams was a classic and apparently Rodgers is a prankster by nature, so this is nothing new for those who know him best. This prank is meaningful in the sense that Rodgers and Lafleur are continuing to build their relationship. One of the most important dynamics on a football team is the one between a coach and quarterback and even though it's only training camp, early indications are the dynamic between the two is nothing to worry about.
