Aaron Rodgers now owns part of the Milwaukee Bucks

Aaron Rodgers was born in Chico, California and played college football at the University of California, Berkeley, but Wisconsin has been his home since he joined the Green Bay Packers over a decade ago in 2005.

During his time with the Packers, the six-time Pro Bowler has grown to love the Milwaukee Bucks and has been spotted supporting them from courtside seats on multiple occasions, especially during last year’s first round playoff series against the Toronto Raptors. Now, Bucks fans will most likely see the Packers quarterback at more home games down the stretch as Rodgers officially became a minority owner of the team on Friday night.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 34-year-old becomes the first active NFL player to own a piece of a major sports franchise in the market in which he plays, and the Bucks got a fantastic leader to come on board.
