Aaron Judge wasn’t even a year old when The Sandlot hit theatres, but that didn’t get in the way of the movie becoming one of his favourite films of all-time.
While the 26-year-old is already living a dream by playing for the New York Yankees, Judge got to fulfill another one of his childhood dreams on Thursday night as he got to meet one of the stars from the movie, Patrick Renna, also known as Hamilton ‘Ham’ Porter.
Renna and Tom Guiry are currently in New York doing a media tour for the 25th anniversary for release of The Sandlot and that meant stops to both Citi Field and Yankee Stadium.
It was probably little tough for Renna to fully take in everything at Yankee Stadium since he’s a Boston Red Sox fan, but Aaron Boone made sure to remind him who’s house he was in.
Last year, photos of Judge rocking a shirt featuring Renna’s character went viral, so you can bet the little kid inside of him was going nuts the entire time.
