In December, the NFL will once again be celebrating the My Cause, My Cleats campaign in which they use shoe artwork to help spread important messages close to the players. Players have different ways of approaching the campaign, and some of the stories behind the artwork make them extra cool.

Aaron Jones’ cleats definitely fall into that category.

As part of the campaign, Jones had fans of the Green Bay Packers submit designs in a competition to decide what cleats he will don. In partnership with Northwest Mutual, Jones was benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand – a foundation set up to battle childhood cancer.

On Friday, Jones delivered the surprise of a lifetime to Ethan, a young Packers fan currently battling cancer.

The video was met with tons of positivity, as Jones was commended for the heartwarming surprise, and Ethan was commended for his ongoing battle.
