Showing sportsmanship and respect in victory as well as in defeat is something not only players should do, but fans also.
As exciting as it is in the moment to watch your team win a big game, there's no reason to go the extra mile to throw the win in the faces of fans of the opposing team.

The Athletics' Twitter account saw the video of this fan getting beer thrown at him and have reached out to the internet to find the fan so they can hook him up with some new gear.
It was an incredible season for the Athletics that nobody could have seen coming and despite the loss and beer thrown at him, that fan enjoyed the ride to the fullest and nothing can take that away from him and all Athletics fans.
