Tuesday night, the Raptors faced the Clippers in Los Angeles without Kawhi Leonard and were able to pick up the victory to end their mini losing streak.
Whenever Leonard is back in Los Angeles, rumours swirl about his future (which at this point seems tied to his hometown) and this trip to Los Angeles was no different.
Many speculate Leonard will end up with the Lakers, but the Clippers are certainly a team to watch next summer because they have a ton of cap space and a roster that could make a run with a couple of superstars. Leonard could be one of those stars they go after and as per ESPN's Brian Windhorst, apparently the Raptors think the Clippers are keeping tabs on them.
According to Windhorst, the Clippers are also keeping tabs on Kevin Durant, too, and they're going to do everything in their power to get both players in a Clippers jersey.
Obviously they're not the only team that will try and lure one or both superstars, but it's interesting nonetheless (along with the fact that they've cleared a path top open up two max salary slots).
