On Wednesday, the Toronto Raptors get set to face the Denver Nuggets in hopes of snapping a 9-game losing skid. On top of that, all eyes are on Toronto as the trade deadline approaches with key contributors Kyle Lowry and Norman Powell rumours swirling.
But on Wednesday, history will be made for a completely separate reason.
The Raps/Nuggets broadcast on TSN will feature an all-female lineup. Meghan McPeak will be doing play-by-play with TSN basketball analyst Kia Nurse by her side. In the studio, TSNβs Kate Beirness is set to host with Amy Audibert providing analysis. Kayla Grey is on virtual courtside duties to round out the lineup.
