The Super Bowl is the best time of the year. Nonstop munch and straight loafing with your buds… what could be better? Being at the game would obviously top it but every football fan knows that the experience comes at a ridiculous price.
Especially if you’re looking for one of the better seats in the house.
Tickets on StubHub are currently selling for as low as $2,323.15 US. Steep, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to past years. That, of course, will land you a ticket with your back against the furthest corner for the entire game. If you’re looking for a more enjoyable experience and have the money to spend then you might want to look into sitting in a 40-yard-line suite. One ticket (which is probably the best seat available) is selling for $189,150!
AMERICAN!!!!
To put that into perspective, that’s like one year of rent in downtown Toronto! Okay that’s an exaggeration, but it is the equivalent of nearly 191,060 apple pies at McDonald’s. OR a Bobby Orr rookie card. Leland’s sports auctioning is currently taking bids on a 1966 Bobby Orr USA Test #35 PSA Mint 9 Pop 1/1 Bobby Orr rookie card with the latest offer coming in at $140,510. Sports fans are willing to spend money on pretty much anything these days!
We’re not saying this ticket’s necessarily going to sell, but it just helps emphasize how big of an event the Super Bowl actually is. If you DON’T feel like spending all that dough then tune into Sunday’s action on CTV at 6 PM Eastern Time and 3 PM Pacific!
Who ya got?
