Auston Matthews is once again at the All-Star game but he has reached a new level for the 2019 festivities.
Auston Matthews is the captain of the Atlantic team, which means his jersey will have a ‘C’ on it. That, combined with new design of the all-star jerseys, means that the Matthews will basically be wearing a Leafs jersey with a C on it.
Knowing the Leafs fan base, some people over reacted a little bit.

Matthews seems to be avoiding all controversy at the all-star game, because he made sure to express his love for the Leafs and avoided all contract talks.
