The Sandlot was released 25 years ago and is still loved by many people until this day. However, with merchandise being sold in retail stores across North America, not everyone who wears some sort of clothing related to the movie has actually seen it.
On Wednesday afternoon, Patrick Renna (Hamilton 'Ham' Porter) and Tom Guiry (Scotty Smalls) were walking around East Village in Manhattan and happened to spot someone walking by them in a T-shirt that featured one of the most iconic lines from the movie. As a result, Renna decided to compliment the stranger’s shirt, but he had no idea what the actor was talking about so they snapped a photo to capture the moment.
The photo has gone viral ever since so hopefully that guy has watched the movie by now or he’s going to have to answer a lot of questions. As for the duo from the movie, they were also at the New York Mets game a couple of nights ago against the San Diego Padres.
