Fans (The ones that spin to propel air forward) and sports have only had one major interaction in the past, and falling into a ring with two professional fighters may have been less scary than this.
Fan man suffered some serious injuries on his adventure, so it definitely ended up worse than the video your about to see, which is more breathtaking than anything. Someone actually strapped a giant fan to their back and used it to propel himself around the ice at ridiculous speeds.
Just watch the video.
Unfortunately, holding the controls kind of prevent you from being able to play hockey with the contraption, so it’s really only useful for the people in Ottawa who could commute on the canal in like 3 minutes with this thing.
Either way, if we can’t use it for hockey in real life, our only recommendation is to get this thing in NHL Threes next year. If we can get an NHL Arcade-like speed boost when a player is on fire, this would be a hilarious addition.
With all of that said, we’re still wondering, could this guy beat Connor McDavid in a race?
