Teams can come up with all kinds of crazy stunts and gimmicks for media day, but this happens to be one familiar to anyone who has ever had a birthday party as a kid.
Magician Anna DeGuzman swung by the Sacramento Kings’ media day, and with some seriously impossible card tricks, she had the entire team questioning the fabric of our reality.
All of these live up to the hype. It’s actually incredible. Harry Giles’ jaw actually drops at one switcheroo, but we’re still busy trying to figure out the card-in-the-mouth trick DeGuzman pulls on Frank Mason and Kosta Koufos. There’s just no way that should be a thing that someone can do!
The lesson is, we’re apparently not too old for children’s birthday parties after all. Sports teams should officially be on notice — please hire more magicians to blow our minds.
