The NFL playoff battle is starting to really heat up as the players focus almost all their attention on those fleeting playoff positions. The jockeying for a bye week, the divisional clashes for a berth, just about every team is playing for something at this point of the year.
Saying that, players, teams, and the NFL as a whole do take a little time to give back. After a successful 2018 campaign, the NFL is bringing back My Cause, My Cleats.
Essentially the idea of this campaign is to connect the players to their communities by customizing a pair of cleats towards a cause, chosen by the player. Kyle Rudolph explains the idea, and his choice of a children’s hospital in Minnesota.
The cause spreads across the league, with teams celebrating unboxing days – often times with those involved with their cause. The end result is a bunch of very cool kicks.
