Forget the whole Ka’wine & Dine food thing; we’ve found a different solution to get Kawhi to stay in Toronto next season. Sure, unlimited food would be nice and all. But free ice skating? Now We’re talking!
The Adult Safe Hockey League attempted to get in on the action by posting a Ka’Wine & Dine sign, offering the pending unrestricted free agent a nice little deal of their own. We’re not quite sure if Kawhi’s been on skates before but hey, what better opportunity to get better at Canada’s favourite sport?!
We’ve gotta say, the 27-year-old doesn’t look too shabby in a hockey helmet!
The Ka’Wine and Dine Instagram account started on May 16 and has picked up traction since. Well-known Toronto restaurants such as Rodney’s Oyster House, Moo Frites, Barhop, and Mahjong Bar have gotten in on the action.
He’d even be able to get his hair cut for free!
The Ka’Wine and Dine movement is great and all, but his largest offer came in the form of a multi-million dollar penthouse. All he has to do is stick in Toronto and this beauty is his!
If Kawhi stays, he’ll be making a ton of money AND he won’t even have to spend any of it. Even on skating lessons!
